They homeschooled me and taught me that children were a blessing. They taught me to evaluate everything and every decision in the light of God's Word and to "not lean on my own understanding."

My husband has continued the process of helping me to be more loving and self sacrificing. Of how to go through trials a little more gracefully than I would on my own.

The next slot has to go to my children. I know that is more than is allowed, but they have all taught me so much. I am amazed at the wonderful people they are becoming!

Congratulations on being a mom to many littles! I used to be there, but mine are starting to grow up. I remember when we had 6 kids, 6 and younger. They were so much fun, I wish that I had paid more attention and enjoyed it more. It goes so quickly.

Blessings,
Kimberly

I don't think I could narrow it down to five! In there would definitely be my mom and dad, my IRL best friend Suzanne, and my husband.

There were a couple of key teachers along the way, like Ms. Hardy who was my 9th grade history teacher. She was the first teacher I ever truly respected, knew what she was talking about, and didn't put up with crap from her students. I was only disappointed in her when I was in college. I mentioned getting my teaching certificate and she totally poo-pooed it like I could do so much more. I know she meant well by it but it was disappointing to see that she didn't think it was a good enough goal to strive for. She is now pretty high up in the regional/state education board.
