Win a FREE ticket to the Heart of the Matter Homeschooling Conference

I'm so excited to be speaking at the Heart of the Matter Conference again this year! It hardly seems possible that I could be in the same line-up as: Susan Wise Bauer, Sally Clarkson, and Jeannie Fulbright (to name but a few).

This year I will be presenting: How to Plan an Efficient and Effective Homeschool Year

Have you ever finished an entire homeschool year feeling unaccomplished? Do you worry about learning gaps and whether or not you are “doing enough”? Or do you worry that you won’t finish the school year all all?

It’s never too late (or too early)  to start planning for an efficient and effective homeschool year.

During this one-hour session you will learn:
- How to  focus your teaching efforts by developing your own Scope &  Sequence (goals)
- How to recreate a manageable, realistic and effective routine
- How to outline, track, and store your educational resources
- Scheduling and organization tips to help you start the year off right.
- How to avoid the dreaded homeschool burnout by showing you how to  find a local support group and where to connect with others online.
- and the #1 thing you have to remember this year!

Plus I will answer additional questions at the end of the session!

If you would like to win a FREE ticket to the 5-day conference PLEASE tell me what your biggest homeschool organizational struggles are in the comments and you will be automatically entered to win!

My biggest struggle is recording what we have done or plan on accomplishing. I have tried every planner out there only to find that we either don't finish everything or I forget to document. Its so frustrating!

My biggest problem is feeling overwhelmed with the planning. When I feel overwhelmed then I have a tendency to avoid it.

What a great giveaway!

My biggest struggle is trying to fit everything into our day. Preschool through fifth grade, nature study, history and games. Plus all the housework, garden and such.

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I am an over achiever. ;)

My biggest struggle is knowing WHAT to record, and how to know what is worth keeping and what is not. I am also struggling with tracking grades.

My biggest organizing struggle is probably a "organizing my day" struggle. I thrive on organization and feel like I do pretty well in most areas, except in the area of "time management" or keeping my daily life organized and on schedule. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, to win a ticket to this conference!
Thanks!

My biggest struggle is organizing my day...finding time to do school, clean, cook, do laundry, Bible reading, etc. I need some time management and organization help!

My biggest struggle is simply keeping it all together. I do my planning in April when I still know what we really NEED to work more on and when I am ready to be done....I like the excitement of the new to come; it helps me make it through the end of the year.

I'm a proud Christian homeschooling mother of 5 and wife to a Road Warrior CEO. Four of our children came through the miracle of IVF and 1 through the miracle of adoption. Before I became a home educator I was a interior decorator, event planner, store owner and professional organizer! Now I get to use my past professional skills (and a few new ones) to the benefit of my family and our home.
