Why women blog

If you are a blogger have you thought about why you blog? I spent a weekend at Blissdom thinking about this very question. I've come to the conclusion that the reason I blog is simply to connect and feel connected.

It is amazing what can happen when you speak up and feel that your voice is heard.
If you don't believe me, try it.

Why do you blog?

What do you need to say?

Sometimes I blog because other people listen to me, and my own wonderful, beautiful, I do love them, six kids don't always listen to me. :) Gotta be honest. Love having a listening and responding audience, even a small one. I love the fellowship. I love the ideas and inspiration.

i blog because it makes me happy. it is a release for me. the focus of my blog is to journal my kids and family and random stuff that pops in my head.

besides, i can type so much faster than i can write with pen on paper!

Blogging started out as techno savvy journaling for me.........but has ended up being therapeutic at times.

I'm a proud Christian homeschooling mother of 5 and wife to a Road Warrior CEO. Four of our children came through the miracle of IVF and 1 through the miracle of adoption. Before I became a home educator I was a interior decorator, event planner, store owner and professional organizer! Now I get to use my past professional skills (and a few new ones) to the benefit of my family and our home.
