I Heart Faces really inspires me to try to become a better amateur photographer...but then I look at all the settings on my camera and my head hurts. Maybe one day.
Why is it that we always look better through someone else's lens? Think about it. I am often flattered (and surprised) by the way I am perceived by others. Wouldn't it be great if we all saw ourselves the way others see us?
What if we saw ourselves (and others) the way He does?

this is a really great reminder. especially for mothers, we need to be kind to ourselves! :D
stumbled on your blog somehow. cheers!
I know that I am my own worst critic, second guessing things that I did say or didn't say, did do or didn't do.
I am not sure I would want others to see me as God does-- that would be SO humbling! Sin is ugly.
But I am glad that He doesn't give up on me. And that He already loved me at my worst-- enough to send His Son to die on the cross for me!
As to your very cool camera, you will be amazed at how much you can learn if you read your manual like *cough* I (should) do. Melissa@afamiliarpath did a great series on learning to use your camera. Pioneer Woman also has some good tips.
I am also guilty of being my own worst critic. But you, gf, are incredibly beautiful inside and out. My camera loves you.
I do too.
:)
:D Its easier to see our own flaws and make them alot bigger than they actually are. When I was a teenager I had terrible acne. The adults around me always assured me that I had a very pretty face. I never believed them. Now I am a grown up and I see teenagers with acne and I am able to see right past it to their pretty faces and now I understand. :D
Oh man, it is so hard to think that way! But life would be a lot easier if we could!
I know what you mean... the other day someone said i have a natural beauty which actually shocked me... ;)
