The sun is rising on my joy

"He is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth."
2 Samuel 23:4

This was the view outside of my son's bedroom this morning. As gorgeous as it is, let me tell me you that I almost missed it as I stumbled around bleary eyed with our 1 year old daughter. Thankfully, my six year old son pointed it out to me.

"Wow! Look at that! Oh, Wow"

At 38 I am trying to find my joy, everyday.
And can I tell you, it isn't as hard as I originally thought it would be!

Is there something you are holding back from trying to achieve?
Maybe it's not as hard as you think?

What a gorgeous view you have!

I actually went out to look at ours, just to remind myself of how blessed I am to be able to see such beauty...and got to see at least 12 dolphins swimming by! We usually only see 2 or 3 together. How awesome!

What a beautiful post! I've found my joy this morning. My 18 month old "cooking" with our pots and pans!

That is AWESOME! It is amazing how much we can take for granted sometimes and if we would only look through a child's eyes huh?

By the way I think this is my first time to your blog, feel free to stop by and say hello at my blog as well...I am also looking for followers at my blog. Feel free to follow my blog and I will follow yours as well.

Happy, Happy New Year! :)

Oh Karin, why the heck were you up that early. Being a mommy is hard work especially with 4 kids, who could blame you for almost missing that!
