The one where I'm still talking about moving but haven't moved

What is it about moving that makes you want to take everything you own and just throw it away?

Actually, I generally like moving because its a great time to clear the clutter but I'm just emotionally exhausted at this point. My latest bright idea is to move over our homeschool room and my home office into the new house. Those areas appear to be construction free at the moment and we can at least get some of the boxes out of the house we are living in and get back on our school schedule. So that is the plan this week---to trick myself into believing that I'm actually moving in and that there is going to be an end to this limbo.

I was frantically packing last night in-between managing subcontractors and all I can say is, man homeschoolers use a lot of books! Or that may be what the two helpful college students who are helping me move must be thinking. At any rate, I'm starting to get excited about setting up the school room and I'm contemplating pulling an all-nighter if need be.

As for Big Daddy, he's currently planning on being out of town for three weeks!
I always knew Big Daddy was the smarter one.

3 weeks?! Wowzers, that is a long time. I'll be praying for you and your kidlets (and your sanity), Karin!

The only thing about moving into a schoolroom and office is that I would need snacks. LOTS of snacks. Because I like snacks. Will you have a fridge handy?

OH the sight of that box brings back some very recent memories. I told Tyler I had one more move in me ... the move in two years when we head back to the States!
Good Luck!
Love & Blessings from Hong Kong,
Kim

I'm a proud Christian homeschooling mother of 5 and wife to a Road Warrior CEO. Four of our children came through the miracle of IVF and 1 through the miracle of adoption. Before I became a home educator I was a interior decorator, event planner, store owner and professional organizer! Now I get to use my past professional skills (and a few new ones) to the benefit of my family and our home.
