Tales of a 4th child

It is said that the fourth child isn't photographed much.
Actually, they say that about the 2nd child...so imagine what it's like for the 4th?
I swore that would never be me.
It is.
I'm so ashamed of myself.
So today, I celebrate Cutie Pie..
Humor me.

At 17 months she is still a joy.
Always smiling. Always happy.

Completely bilingual,
even if she only speaks Spanish to Daddy
(who doesn't speak a word of it).

Her favorite food is Yogurt.
Or
"go-gurt" as she calls it.

She loves leche (milk).
Which is fitting since she is crazy about cows.
She adores her big sister
and calling for her by name.

Screams, "Hi!" whenever anyone walks into the house.

Her first words were: Tortuga and gecko.
Honestly

She loves to sing.
She loves watering the plants outside.
Hates swimming lessons but loves the pool.
Just don't try to get in without her.
Trust me.

We love her.

Even if we don't photograph her nearly enough.

We're working on that...
Thanks for celebrating our 4th blessing with us.
She is just as loved as our first three.
I swear.

Oh how I understand the woes - but the beauty of a digital camera can be such a blessing now! :)

Oooo... Orr is right! that would make a fun book-- "My first words were Gecko and Tortuga"-- growing up the 4th child. ;) Or growing up bilingual or something like that.

She is beautiful and smart! Like her momma.

Oh girl, I'm so right there with out!!! I'm terrible at keeping up. She is so darling- absolutely darling! And bi-lingual? I'm impressed. Our 4 yr. old from Ethiopia was for about a week, then transitioned right on out of Amharyic and into English- makes me so sad!

I'm right there with you. I have four also. I started dropping the ball badly after the third, so there was no hope for the fourth. LOL

Oh she is such a cutie! I love her amazingly long eyelashes surrounding her big, beautiful eyes!

"gecko!" our youngest one couldn't get enough of them when we lived in Hawaii!

We loved the years that we homeschooled ours...now all 3 are back in college...

Blessings and Aloha!

What a cutie! You've inspired me to get my camera out and snap away. Equally, of course. :)

Don't be so hard on yourself ! LOL I have the opposite problem ... 10 month old TWINS that get pictures taken of them all the time while I feel guilty that their 5 year old brother didn't have many pictures taken when he was their age.

In my defense the digital age was not what it is now ! LOL I tell myself that anyway as I look at the stacks of scrapbook "stuff" waiting to be made into something. ;)

Take heart, she knows that she is loved and blessed to have you as a mother !

What a beauty she is! Such expressive eyes...she looks like F-U-N. My youngest is 17 months old too...definitely not bilingual, though :( Maybe someday, maybe someday.
