Inspiration needed

For the past several weeks we've been told we are just 4 weeks away from getting our certificate of occupancy on our new home. Unfortunately for us, we are told that at every meeting we have. {sigh} I guess that is par for the course when you are building a dream.

Still, it's hard not to get excited about our move, whenever that may actually be. As the weeks drag on, like Ground Hog Day, the nesting urge has officially started.

This is the part where I need your help.

Several years ago I heard of a company called, Wonderful Graffiti, and I fell in serious like with the concept. With Wonderful Graffiti you can create custom removable transfers for your walls that look painted or printed on. It is simply amazing when done right.

You are truly only limited by your imagination. And here is where I need your help. I'm exhausted and not feeling too terribly imaginative. Will you help me come up with something?

I need ideas for
my mud room
breakfast room
and
playroom/classroom.

Scripture, prayers or quotes are welcome.
Have any ideas?
Share them with me!

Oh dear me, I will have to think about this one! I'm not an inspiration-on-the-moment type of person!

Oh I wish you get to move in soon! Sooner or later!

I have a little sticker on those glass blocks that says "love is spoken here"

I like the idea of the Hang Ten feet for the mud room. You could also do an Ogden Nash poem, such as The Duck:

Behold the duck.
It does not cluck.
A cluck it lacks.
It quacks.
It is specially fond
Of a puddle or pond.
When it dines or sups,
It bottoms ups.

Have fun! SITS sent me over here...and I'm glad they did!

I too am in serious like with Wonderful Graffitti. For our nursery I have the following quote above the crib:

You are stronger than you seem
Braver than you believe
And smarter than you think you are

It's from Winnie the Pooh - Christopher Robin, I believe. This might be a good addition to your playroom/classroom.

Mud room: galoshes, umbrellas, muddy paw prints

Classroom: letters, numbers, color crayons, books,

Breakfast room: sun and flowers (its my favorite time of day!)

Good luck and hopefully you are in soon!

Well what I'd always wanted to do is paint a large train on the wall and instead of filling in the boxcars with regular paint, use chalkboard paint. And since I saw the pictures you posted from that other blog, I think making a couple of boxcars full of those nifty book shelves would be cute too. Then, using the stickers, put the whole "train a child up in the way he should go..." scripture. Of course it is too late for me to do any of this now since my boys are past the "cute stuff" stage but maybe your kiddos would like it.

NEVER STOP LEARNING - it is true and inspirational. This phrase hangs in our schoolroom. By the way, I love your "favorite" schoolroom/playroom it has so many great ideas. I think I will incorporate a few into our room while I am reorganizing for the new school year. Quite the task!
