Blog Tour

Welcome to my new blog!
I'm so excited about the changes that I wanted to give you a personal tour.
Humor me. I'm a geek like that.

Connect with me

To the right you will see cute little buttons so that you can send me an email, follow my tweets, read my Heart of the Matter Reviews or articles, and read my Examiner articles.

Subscribe
You can also subscribe to my blog with a Reader of your choice, become a Mommy Fan or subscribe by email.
That way you won't miss a single post!

Tour the new sections
The cute tabs across the top will take you to a few featured sections of my site.

About me:
Have you ever stumbled across someone's blog and just wanted to know their story? Well, this section has my story. In case you were wondering... In another day or two it will also have more pictures of my family. Minus Big Daddy. Because he's private like that.

Our homeschool:
As the name suggests, this tab links you directly to our personal homeschool blog, Passport Academy. Our homeschooling adventure is chronicled here. Although I do link to some resources that we are using the blog is about our personal journey. All of my general homeschooling information, websites & resource suggestions are under the new Teacher Tips tab.

Teacher Tips:
Because not all of my readers are homeschooling, teaching or are parents of little ones, I've moved my Teacher section to this area of the blog. The only thing is, it won't show up on your reader, so you'll need to subscribe to Teacher Tips via email if you want to get the latest updates. I've separated my Teacher Tips from my email subscription to Mommy Matters, so even if you subscribe via email to my blog, you won't automatically get the Teacher Tips, unless you subscribe to them separately.

WPB Examiner
:
I am the West Palm Beach Homeschooling Examiner. Use the tab to read my latest Examiner articles and visit my Examiner home page.

Where did the Mommy, Homemaker, Wife, Organizer, and Decorator buttons go?

Those sections are now part of "Mommy Dishes on" although they've now been renamed: motherhood, homemaking, marriage, organizing, and decorating. There are even a few more categories (but not too many) to help make it easier to find the posts you like, along with a new search feature you can use. It is located above the email subscription form.

What is your favorite change or new feature to my blog?

My fav is all the white space! LOVE IT. Makes things clean and fresh. Glad you kept the fun retro momma's in your header and the cute wooden spoon!

BTW, fabulous idea to have a blog tour. Do you mind if I steal your idea when I have my blog-warming party?

My Photo
I'm a proud Christian homeschooling mother of 5 and wife to a Road Warrior CEO. Four of our children came through the miracle of IVF and 1 through the miracle of adoption. Before I became a home educator I was a interior decorator, event planner, store owner and professional organizer! Now I get to use my past professional skills (and a few new ones) to the benefit of my family and our home.

Did you miss this?
