Strange Comfort

{Comfort Food}
A food which elicits warm feelings and memories of childhood or good times.
When I was pregnant with my twin boys I craved crawfish.
Authentic Louisiana Crawfish.
I lived in Pennsylvania.
This was a problem.
Thank goodness for Fed Ex.
Even if the shipping cost more than the actual crawfish.
Big Daddy was so good to me!

When I was pregnant with my daughter I craved crawfish & Beignets
Authentic Louisiana Crawfish.
We lived in Florida (part time)
This was easier, but still a problem.
Fed Ex to the rescue again.

During my youngest daughter's pregnancy I craved ceviche.
Peruvian Ceviche to be exact.
A neighbor had her housekeeper make it for me...and I am still craving it.It is my comfort food of choice now.
Whenever I'm feeling down it's what I want for dinner.
I'm not sure that comfort food is supposed to be so hard to come by. If Senora Helena decides to move to Peru, I'm in trouble.
Until then I will continue to find spicy comfort in a giant bowl of Peruvian Ceviche.
Yum!
